On April 24th I am going to walk in the 2010 LifeWalk to benefit CareNet. CareNet is a nonprofit organization that has served the community with complimentary services for 14 years.
CareNet is a life-affirming ministry whose mission is to impact and transform people with the love of Christ. They, through the help of many volunteers, compassionately serve women, men and families in unplanned pregnancies and offer them a meaningful alternative to abortion.
CareNet practically meets a client’s physical need with complimentary pregnancy testing, ultrasound, maternity and baby clothes, formula, diapers, as well as meeting their spiritual needs. They challenge teens with the message of sexual integrity, reminding them of their incredible value and worth as human beings. They also encourage post-abortive men and women with the forgiveness and healing found in relationship with Jesus Christ.
