Meet the CareNet Staff:

Chris Russell:

CEO/Founding Member

Chris is a founding member of CareNet: and has served as Steering Committee Chairman from Oct '93 - Oct '94; and on the Board of Directors as Speakers Bureau Chairman and Vice Chairman from Oct '94 - Oct '95;  Fundraising Chairman and Vice Chairman from Oct '95 - Oct '96. 
 
Mrs. Russell became the CEO in Oct '96. She earned her Associates of Applied Science Degree with a concentration in Business from Nashville State Community College and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a specialization in Counseling in Life Issues at the Masters International School of Divinity in Indiana.  She is currently working on her Master's Degree in Counseling with a specialization in Life Issues.
 
Chris has also been trained in Post Abortion Counseling.

Margaret Cole:

Is from Uniontown, Pennsylvania and moved to Tennessee in 1990.  She is married to David and has one daughter, Brooke.  She served as Client Services Director from September 2000 until December 2007.  Her talents in fundraising promoted her to the Director of Advancement position, which she began in January 2008.  Margaret is also trained in Post Abortion Counseling.

Esther Mollenhour

Esther is our Client Services Director.  She began volunteering at CareNet when she was 17.  She was trained to do peer "teen" counseling and has a heart for women and men who are struggling with life choices.  She began working as Client Services Director in January 2008.

Diana Erwin

Diana is originally from Birmingham, Alabama.  She attended The University of Montevallo in Alabama where she received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology.  She then attended Trevecca Nazarene Univeristy in Nashville where she earned her Master's Degree in Counseling.
 
Diana began volunteering at CareNet in August of 2008 and became an employee in January 2009 working in client services. 
 
Mrs. Erwin is married with three children.  "I came here because of my deep passion for helping men and women through tough times in their lives."

Ginger Cavender  RN BSN:

Began working at CareNet in February 2007.  She graduated in 1992 from MTSU with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She worked at St Thomas Hospital in Nashville as a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse from 1992 - 2003.  She went on to work for St Thomas Cardiology Consultants from 2003 - 2007.  Ginger is ACLS Certified.

Doris Collins: Administrative Assistant

Doris originally from Memphis, Tennessee, is married to Bob and has four children and two grandchildren.  She has resided in Dickson since 2005.  She is a former board member of MHEA (Memphis Home Education Association).  She and her husband are involved in the "Ropes Course" at Linden Valley Conference Center in Linden, Tennessee.  She is a member of 1st Baptist Church Dickson.
 
Doris brings with her exceptional secretarial skills and a heart for women who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy.


Meet the CareNet Board:

Janice M Evans - Board of Directors Secretary

Married with 4 grown children & 10 grandchildren.
A Christian and attends Oasis Family Worship Center in Dickson, TN.

Occupation:  Office Manager;  Dominion Printers in Charlotte, TN

Janice has been with CareNet 8 years in various capacities.  Also volunteers on the Prayer chain; she is a "Poster lady" - one who checks Care Net's posters in various business' in Dickson County; also helps with donation boxes in Charlotte.

Joyce Turman - Board of Directors-Vice Chairmen.

Retired BellSouth Operator.
Married with two children and four grandchildren.
Joyce has been involved with Carenet since the first meeting of interest.
Joyce is a member of Sylvia Baptist Church and is a volunteer counselor at Carenet.

Elaine Conese  -  Board Chair

Has resided in Dickson since 1987.  Attended Hillsboro
High School in Nashville and received her Business Associates Degree from Western Kentucky University.  She assists her husband, Vince, in sales at AMI Metals, Inc.
 
Elaine attends Redeemer Presbyterian Church (PCA).  She enjoys riding and training her horses.
She also counsels at CareNet. 

Nathan Russell, FNP - Board of Directors

Education:

Hollye Clardy - Board of Directors

Hollye is a Dickson County Native. She is a graduate of Dickson County High School and the University of Tennessee, Nashville Branch. She has an Associates Degree in Nursing. Hollye has worked in several small hospitals in Tennessee and in home care in Tennessee and Virginia. She is currently employed at Horizon Medical Center in the Outpatient Surgery Department. She is BLS & ACLS certified. Hollye has three children and one grandchild. She has also served as a church liaison for CareNet since 1996. Her hobbies include sewing and machine embroidery.

Donnie Craig - Board Member

Donnie has been involved with CareNet for the past 15 years in one capacity or another.  He joined the Board of Directors in December 2008, where he accepted the position of treasurer.  Donnie and his wife Debbie live in Burns.  They have three children and five grandchildren.


Meet the Medical Advisors:

Dr. Julie Perrigin

Dr. Perrigin was born in Terre Haute, IN, but grew up ouside of Memphis, Tennessee.  She attended Mississippi University for Women, where she met and married her husband.  Dr. Perrigin attended medical school in Memphis, Tennessee.  
 
They have two children, a boy and a girl, reside in Dickson on a pine tree farm, and enjoy the country and small town living. 

Dr. Tom Miller

Dr. Miller is a native of Nashville, Tennessee.  After graduating with honors from the University of Tennessee Medical School, he served an internship and residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  Dr. Miller completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.  He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
 
In 2003, Dr. Miller founded Geriatric Consulting Group upon recognizing the need to bring to bring convenient and attentive healthcare to the aging population.
